Following the opening speech of Ramona Pop, Senator for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, 300 experts from Berlin and around the world exchanged views during the Berlin Urban Tech Summit 2018. To mark its tenth anniversary, this year’s Berlin Economic Conference was held under its new name for the first time. Industry representatives, company founders and other renowned speakers from the fields of business, science and politics explained their positions on Energy and Mobility, Digitalisation, and Knowledge Transfer and networked at Radialsystem V. Robotisation and its effects on the world of work, the development of ecosystems through intelligent networking and the future of energy and mobility systems in cities were among the focal points. In addition, Young Talents pitched innovative business models in an entertaining format on the main stage, and public enterprises from the German capital presented their needs for the future.
