On course for the future: Mobility concepts for the city of tomorrow
Susanne Henckel has been CEO of the Transport Association Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH (VBB) since March 2014. The graduate engineer and urban and transport planning expert started her career as a project engineer with consulting companies and local authorities. At the North Hessian Transport Association she managed the modernization of the rail infrastructure in a position of senior responsibility. She also held a teaching position in the field of rail vehicles at the Technical University (TU) Berlin was a member of the Executive Board of the Federal Working Group of the Public Transport Authorities for Rail Passenger Transport (BAG-SPNV). She has been President of the BAG-SPNV since June 2018.

Dr.-Ing. Kerstin Busch
Dr.-Ing. Kerstin Busch has been living in Berlin for over 25 years. Upon completing her dissertation at the Technical University, she worked in management positions at various companies in the energy sector and acquired profound knowledge of renewable energies and innovative solutions for tenants – making her an expert in this field. Since autumn 2018 she has been Managing Director of Berliner Stadtwerke GmbH and since April 2019 Spokeswoman of the Management Board. She sees one of her focal work areas as making the change process of energy transition accessible to people locally.
