Urban Industries Produce Innovative Logistics Solutions
Ulrich Misgeld is a banker and business economist. He holds board positions in non-profit organisations, is chairman of the Motzener Straße e.V. corporate network and is a member of the advisory board of Below Tippmann&Compagnie Personalberatung GmbH. With the project “SLiM – Smart Logistics in Marienfelde” Ulrich Misgeld wants to reduce heavy goods traffic in Berlin. To this end, the general cargo deliveries for around 200 companies are to be consolidated more effectively in the Großbeeren freight traffic centre (Brandenburg) and transported by electric truck to the Motzener Strasse industrial estate. The Joint State Planning Department (GL) is promoting the project as an “exemplary project”.
