Thank You!

On September 2, 2020, the first virtual Berlin Urban Tech Summit took place. This year's host was once again Ramona Pop, Senator for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. Under the motto "Inner-city production using the example of Siemensstadt 2.0", she and the Investitionsbank Berlin issued a virtual invitation to Spandau to the new Siemensstadt. The cooperation partner this year was Siemens AG.

We would like to thank all participants, who were very active in the virtual live event, and our speakers and moderators who shared their insights and discussed the development possibilities of urban industries, the opportunities of digitalization, and the potential of future-oriented innovations.

»Berlin is already seen as a city of the future. Due to the close interconnection of modern industry and innovative services, Berlin has been an attractive location for national and international companies for years. The rapidly advancing digitalization taking place in all areas of life and business in Berlin, a city which is open to progress, provides an excellent platform for the realization of numerous future solutions within the broad spectrum of modern inner-city production. I am delighted that the Berlin Urban Tech Summit is reflecting precisely this progress as it continues to act as a constant in times of Corona by opening its doors virtually for the first time this year. We want to discuss the inner-city production of the future together and I am looking forward to welcoming you on September 2nd.«
