Future City
Berlin

BERLINDUSTRIES lead the way – As an industrial location Berlin is alive, developing and changing. Daily. The fact that it works lies in the hands of visionaries and progressive thinkers who not only have new ideas, but also implement them.

Particularly innovative solutions will be presented at the Berlin Urban Tech Summit at the Future City Exhibition. These are concepts and developments that illustrate how a technologized and demanding population can feel comfortable in urban space. Now and in the future.

They are lighthouse projects from companies working in urban technologies and the city of Berlin as a location, visualized and made tangible for all participants. Inspiration for decision-makers from business, science and research, industry, politics and the media.

The framework for the selected exhibits will be designed by tape-art artists. See how we can live and produce better, now and in the future – at the Berlin Urban Tech Summit.

BMW C evolution & Concept Link

With the electric scooter BMW C evolution, BMW Motorrad has been offering innovative and sustainable mobility on two wheels since 2014. But that was just the beginning: The visionary concept study BMW Concept Link links the digital world to the analog world. Among other things, the vehicle knows the calendar and therefore the driver's next destinations, the fastest or most scenic route, and connects to wearables. On display at the Future City Exhibition. WindNODE

WindNODE Live! is the showcase for intelligent energy from the north-east of Germany – and part of the Future City Exhibition. Visitors experience developments of Energy Transition 2.0 in a multimedia and interactive diorama table. As we move towards a network of flexible energy users, the goal is to be able to adapt electricity consumption to fluctuating energy generated from the wind and sun in the best possible way and to guarantee stable electricity grids. These digitization challenges are presented by means of topics such as flexibilization and sector coupling, with project examples and short animated films. More Information
